KURZ® Duesseldorf Type

The KURZ® Dusseldorf Type prostheses have stood the test of time. For over 20 years they have help to successfully reconstruct the ossicular chain.

This implant has helped set the standards that have been used with the development of newer designs. Its excellent weight balance helps the surgeon achieve secure intraoperative positioning of the prosthesis, whilst the stem of both the Partial and Aerial implants have proven reliable for many years around the world.

DUSSELDORF Type Partial Prosthesis

• Lightweight design
• Available from 1.75-3.50mm, giving a functional length of 0.75-2.5mm
• Conically shaped bell: optimally adapts to the stapes head
• Recessed slots allow adequate space for the stapedius tendon

DUSSELDORF Type Total Prosthesis

• Centered headplate
• Lightweight design
• Available from 3.00-7.00mm
• Cannulated distal footing developed to give the prosthesis an excellent degree of stability
• Dusseldorf Type Total Prosthesis is compatible with the OMEGA CONNECTOR
