KURZ® MatriX

The size and geometry of the incus can vary enormously from person to person. This can present a challenge when it come to creating a stable, but gentle coupling between the implant and the incus.

KURZ® has taken on this challenge and produced the MatriX Stapes Prosthesis. The longitudinal perforations in the broad band of the loop ensures that it is highly malleable and easy to gently model around the long process of the incus.

Made from Pure Titanium (ASTM F67 Medical Grade) – Diameter: 0.4/0.5/0.6mm – Band Loop width: 0.5mm – Lengths 3.50-5.50mm (in .25mm increments) see below
