The Marpac E-Z Grab has several features that make it very popular with clinical teams. The soft foam pad (under all plastic sections) along with the hydrocolloid adhesive (carefully placed above the mid-line only), holds the device in place and is very skin friendly. The buckle quickly secures the tube and allows it to be safely moved along the raised track, helping to prevent pressure build-up.

Depending on local protocols, the repositioning of the tube can be carried out by a single member of the team. The raised track helps prevent pressure on the upper lip, even for edentulous patients, whilst keeping secretions away from the locking mechanism. This device is quickly become the preferred choice for short to medium-term use.
