FOR OPTIMIZED SOUND CONDUCTION
In cases where there is strong incus erosion a stapedioplasty prosthesis may not be easily attached without the need to create an angle to help ensure optimal acoustical transfer signal to the inner ear.
The MatriX Stapes Prosthesis Offset Version offers a solution to this challenging anatomical situation. Designed with a shaft offset of 1.5 mm it can help ensure a smooth sound conduction.
The prosthesis also feature a unique, wide, offset and perforated band loop designed for softer and more controlled crimping. As a result the coupling is simplified and more uniform whilst the increased surface area helps ensure the incoming acoustic signal is conducted to the inner ear with minimal loss.
