Speech and Language Therapy AGM

Speech and Language Therapists are commonly seeing dry mouth in their adult patients for a variety of reasons; Stroke, Cancer treatment or medication in the elderly are but a few reasons for mouths becoming dry. Speech and Language Therapists are often on the front line when combating dry mouth in hospitals. Nurses and Doctors alike are often too busy treating the more urgent medical needs and a Speech and Language Therapists can be the first person to peer inside the mouth, what they are likely to find is not very pleasant. Now armed with A.S Saliva Orthana samples on the wards Speech and Language Therapists have the tools to help patients mouths get return to normal.
