OUR HISTORY

CCMed is the amalgamation of Childerhouse Medical, Chambers Medical Care and AS Pharma.

Childerhouse Medical started trading in 1966 supplying NHS and Private Hospitals, specialising in accessories for Upper Airway Management. Since then the portfolio has expanded but we still specialise in this area and now also distribute innovative medical products to niche healthcare markets.

Chambers Medical Care was founded in 1975 supplying the Home Care Market. It has since branched out supplying under contract to various Government Departments including the Ministry of Defence with a portfolio of over 1000 product lines.

AS Pharma has been distributing A.S Saliva Orthana in the UK since 1982. This is artificial saliva for use by people suffering from Dry Mouth. It is made in Denmark to the highest standards and viewed by many in the healthcare profession to be the most effective saliva substitute on the market. We continue to try to assist sufferers of Xerostomia by supporting and developing new ideas in this field.
